Clatch Club for Kids!!!
Yarnicorns is Crochet Clatch's creative program for youth under 16. Designed to inspire the next generation of makers through crochet, creativity, and community, the Yarnicorns objective is to help young makers find their creative voice and vision.
While students learn the art of crochet, they're also developing something even more valuable: patience, perseverance, problem-solving skills, creativity, confidence, and the satisfaction that comes from creating something with their own hands.
Every child learns differently, which is why Yarnicorns combines a structured curriculum with personalized instruction, allowing each student to learn at their own pace while celebrating every milestone along the way.
Our classes are inclusive, encouraging, and fun. There is no pressure to be perfect; only the opportunity to learn, explore, create, and grow alongside new friends who share a love of making.
For students who dream a little bigger, Yarnicorns also introduces age-appropriate entrepreneurial opportunities. As their skills develop, students will learn about valuing and pricing handmade items, presenting their work with confidence, and the art of customer experience. Yarnicorns learn the pride that comes from earning income through their own creativity and persistance.
Whether they become lifelong crocheters, future business owners, or simply creative problem-solvers, our hope is that every Yarnicorn leaves believing in their ability to make something beautiful and make a difference, because today's young makers are tomorrow's artists, innovators, teachers, and community builders. Each and every one of them deserves a place where they belong.
As students complete projects and overcome challenges, they begin to see that persistence leads to accomplishment. They learn that mistakes are part of the creative process, and that every finished project represents something created through their own determination and imagination.
Lifelong lessons are learned in Yarnicorns.
